In 2024, the Isle of Man Government, through Digital Isle of Man, created the Activate AI scheme.
This was to equip the Manx community and businesses with the knowledge and skills to use AI technologies, and provide skilled expert resources to Manx businesses in implementing AI technologies to solve business problems.
Through his company Archit3ct Ltd, Dan was a founding Activation partner offering both public training sessions on the use of AI and technical solutions to Isle of Man businesses looking to take their first step with AI.
As a result of this work, in 2024, he was a finalist for the Digital Isle of Man “Tech Educator of the Year” award.

In 2025, Dan stepped back as an Activation Partner, joining fellow founding partner LEMA Logic as Senior Technologist.
While doing so, he continued to offer personal educational sessions on AI through Activate AI, with a focus on both real-world benefits and risks of AI use in Isle of Man workplaces.

During 2024/2025, Dan delivered 36 X 2-hour in-person AI training sessions for Isle of Man Businesses in partnership with Digital Isle of Man.

Since 2023, Dan has also delivered numerous remote training sessions as both public and private livestream events, opening up the training he offers to a UK and international audience. Topics included:
